A Bible Study Partnership is a process in which we strive to grow disciples of Jesus within a confidential, trusted relationship. Two or three individuals of the same gender commit to meeting together for a season, usually for 6 months to a year. Partnerships are frequently intergenerational, helping us think outside of our own perspective.
The timing and frequency of meetings is up to those involved, though partners most frequently choose to meet once a week or every other week. At first, partners begin by talking casually and learning about each other. From there, they begin to meet to read Scripture and process their reflections and questions together. They can meet at a home, a coffee shop, or anywhere else that is comfortable for them. Partners are often surprised by how quickly they begin to value these relationships and how eager they are for their next meeting!
