The struggle of depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, anxiety and other mental illnesses is real and being a Christian does not make us immune to it. Even though Christians have a major support in their faith and church community they still sometimes feel terribly isolated and are impacted by the stigma that surrounds these struggles. Several students from our ministry will be speaking about their personal experiences; we will learn about the impact and stigma of mental health issues in the US and among Christians; and we will receive mental health resources.
